Chief Executive Officer – Sahal Global Institute (SGI)
With over 15 years of experience in education, ICT, leadership, and institutional development, Ahmed has dedicated his career to building systems that connect knowledge, skills, and real-world impact across Africa.
Educated in Information Technology, Management, and Leadership, and holding advanced degrees in IT and Entrepreneurship, Ahmed brings a rare combination of technical expertise, academic grounding, and strategic leadership. His professional journey spans schools, training institutes, universities, and ICT environments, giving him deep insight into how education, technology, and workforce development intersect.
As the founder and CEO of Sahal Global Institute (SGI), his mission is to strengthen professional certifications, applied research, and evidence-based consultancy that address real development challenges in Somalia and East Africa. He is particularly focused on advancing skills development, research quality, and institutional capacity aligned with global standards and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
